Every Mother Wants the Best

Long before ADIELAS became a brand, it was simply a mother’s attempt to nourish the child she loved the most.

As a pediatrician, I had spent over three decades advising thousands of parents on infant nutrition, growth and healthy eating habits. Every day, I would reassure anxious mothers about introducing solids, preventing nutritional deficiencies and helping children develop healthy eating patterns.

But when it came to my own daughter, I found myself asking the same question every parent asks:

“What is truly the healthiest food I can give my child?”

That question became the beginning of ADIELAS.

Why I Didn’t Want Ordinary Packaged Foods

Although there were many baby foods available in the market, I wanted something different.

I wanted food that was:

  • Made from real ingredients
  • Free from unnecessary additives
  • Free from artificial colours and flavours
  • Free from preservatives
  • Without refined sugar
  • Made using carefully selected ingredients
  • Suitable for growing children

As both a doctor and a mother, I knew that early nutrition lays the foundation for lifelong health.

I wanted every spoonful to provide natural nourishment rather than empty calories.

The Birth of ADIELAS

I started preparing nutritious food using carefully selected organic ingredients.

The foundation was sprouted organic ragi, a grain I have always admired for its naturally rich nutritional profile.

As children grow, their nutritional needs also increase. This inspired me to thoughtfully develop different stages of nutrition using carefully chosen grains, pulses and, later, premium dry fruits for older children.

Each stage was designed to match a child’s developmental needs while keeping the ingredient list simple and wholesome.

A Doctor’s Responsibility

Throughout my medical career, I have seen how proper nutrition can influence growth, immunity, learning and overall well-being.

While no single food is magical, consistently offering balanced, nutrient-rich foods during childhood can help support healthy growth and development as part of an overall balanced diet.

That philosophy became the heart of ADIELAS.

Every ingredient was chosen with care—not because it was trendy, but because it had a meaningful nutritional role.

Why Organic Ingredients Matter

Whenever possible, I wanted ingredients that were organically grown and carefully sourced.

Parents today are increasingly aware of what goes into their children’s food.

Choosing quality ingredients helps ensure that children receive wholesome nutrition from the very beginning.

At ADIELAS, quality begins long before the food reaches the kitchen.

Why Sprouting Makes a Difference

Sprouting is a traditional process that has been used for generations.

It can help improve the nutritional profile of certain grains and may enhance the availability of some nutrients while making them easier to digest for many people.

That is one of the reasons sprouted ragi became the cornerstone of ADIELAS Stage 1.

More Than a Business

People often ask me,

“Why did you start ADIELAS?”

The answer is simple.

I did not begin with the dream of creating a company.

I began with the dream of creating the food I wished every parent could confidently serve their child.

If it was good enough for my own daughter, I wanted it to be good enough for yours.

That remains my promise today.

Practical Takeaways for Parents

Introduce complementary foods only when your pediatrician advises that your baby is developmentally ready.

Offer a variety of nutritious foods over time rather than relying on a single ingredient.

Read ingredient labels carefully and choose foods with simple, recognizable ingredients.

Avoid adding excess sugar or salt to foods prepared for young babies.

Remember that healthy eating habits are built one meal at a time.
